The tractor-seats are comfortable once you get used to them, but we will probably line them with foam for a little padding. It slices through waves (which is a good thing normally), but without a cover, deep waves can roll right in over the gunwales. I'm impressed with the stability of the canoe so far. I was also impressed with the ease with which the Spirit II rolled over rocks on which I typically would have at least paused.
